8051 
Microcontrollers are tiny chips that are embedded in every "smart" device you own. 8086 
The name says it all! 8086 is the parent of the x86 family of microprocessors which is still being used in the latest avatar of Pentium processors. Its register model, assembly instructions, memory segmentation, interrupt structure are still downward compatible with the latest generation processors, making learning 8086 absolutely essential for reverse engineering modern systems. With 8086, big corporations Intel, IBM and Microsoft collaborated to bring the successful home PC model to the mass market. 8086 by far is the most studied microprocessor across universities. Here you will learn its architecture, its pins, flags, assembly instructions, assembly level programming, timing diagrams, full theory, system designing, peripherals like 8259, 8255, 8253/4, 8155/6, 8237/57 along with their interfacing and much more. C Programming 
For most engineering students, this is a passage of rights. When you go for your job interview, be SURE of being asked basic coding questions like sorting an array, finding the highest, creating functions, for loops, switch-case, passing parameters, searching, creating data structures and so on. You call yourself a modern engineer, then ought to know all these at the back of your hand. The most widely learnt language is C because it forms the base for learning higher subjects like data structures, embedded C, computer graphics, compiler construction etc. The course videos are available in English.
